From Hokkaido to Home Turf: One Team, Two Missions

BBFS BLOG | June 2025

Over the June school holidays, BBFS took a huge step forward. For the first time ever, a group of our players travelled to Hokkaido, Japan — not for sightseeing, but for floorball. It was more than just a trip; it was a journey that tested how far we’ve come as a team and how far we’re willing to go together.

The players trained, played, and soaked in what floorball culture looks like beyond Singapore. They met new opponents, tried new strategies, and picked up lessons they wouldn’t find anywhere else. More importantly, they learned what it means to wear the BBFS badge in a different country — to play with heart, humility, and hunger.

And now that we’re home? The work continues.

Two Big Competitions. One Clear Mindset.

1. Storvretacupen Singapore 2025 – 20 to 22 June We’ll be sending 10 BBFS teams — U10 and U12, both boys and girls — into one of the most anticipated youth tournaments this year. This isn’t just about medals or bragging rights. It’s about showing what disciplined training and values-driven development can do when the whistle blows.

2. SFL Men’s Conference League 2024/25Our BBFS Marlins have entered the Men’s Conference League, Group 1 — a real test of skill, maturity, and mental toughness. It’s a leap into the adult game, and we’re taking it seriously. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just effort, structure, and a deep desire to belong at this level.

BBFS isn’t just a school anymore. We’re a serious floorball academy. And our kids? They’re ready for the big stage.
